MPT
The Master of Physiotherapy (MPT) programme provided by BCIP offers physical therapists a once-in-a-lifetime chance to develop their careers and become leaders in the physical therapy field. This programme, which is equipped with cutting-edge technology in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation, provides state-of-the-art educational, clinical, and research experiences for physical therapists who want to enhance their knowledge in the field of physical therapy and rehabilitation.
The Master of Physiotherapy programme is a two-year curriculum accredited by the DCPTOT.
This programme offers students a variety of learning opportunities, including didactics, problem-based learning, team-based learning, online learning, skill labs, evidence-based clinical physiotherapy practise, and a research project, all of which lead to successful completion and the award of an MPT degree.
BCIP now provides MPT in Musculoskeletal and Sports.
PedagogyTeaching
The package incorporates classroom training, clinical training, research activities, presentations, case discussions, and a dissertation on a topic of interest. Postgraduate students will be prepared to take on responsibilities in advanced patient treatment while adhering to ethical norms of conduct. They will be required to participate actively in seminars, case presentations, journal review sessions, and clinical discussions. In addition, they will conduct out research activities under the supervision of research supervisors.
Eligibility Criteria
Bachelor's Degree from a recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate from a recognised university.
Admission Procedure
The admissions are carried out strictly based on merit through a Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by GGSIP University. The students are admitted to the Institute of their choice through central counselling conducted by the University. For application forms, the students should respond to the advertisement by the university or visit website www.ggsipu.nic.in or www.ipu.ac.in.

Examination and Evaluations:
The university follows the annual system of examination for MPT course. The examination and evaluation is carried out according to the scheme laid down by the University. Every paper is of 100 marks. In all theory paper students are evaluated through an external examination with 75% weightage, and 25% weightage is through an internal/continuous evaluation. In every practical exam, students are evaluated through external examination with 60% weightage & 40% weightage is through internal examination. The internal evaluation is conducted based on written tests, presentations, assignments, seminars, projects, etc. The degree of MPT is awarded by the GGSIP University.
